DR. RENATO SALTZ

MD, FACS Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Renato Saltz is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, body, and breast.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.


Dr. Saltz served as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Summit Plastic Surgery Center at the University of Utah from 1994 to 2002.

He previously taught and practiced at the Medical College of Georgia from 1990 to 1994.

He currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah and Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

One of the pioneers of endoscopic surgery in the United States, Dr. Saltz has published and presented over 500 national and international papers, including 39 chapters and 7 books.

He serves on the editorial boards of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal, New Beauty Magazine, Cureus, and Modern Aesthetics.

Dr. Saltz served as President of both the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), as well as President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Plastic Surgeons.

He is an Honorary Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the founder and chair of the Biennial Global Aesthetics Conferences in Miami Beach and the Annual American-Brazilian Aesthetic Meetings.

Dr. Saltz is also the founder and chairman of the Image Reborn Foundation of Utah, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free retreats for breast cancer survivors since 1998.

Dr. Sheila Barbarino is an award-winning cosmetic surgeon, industry innovator, and world-renowned lecturer specializing in surgery of the eyelids, face, and full body cosmetic plastic surgery.

She is double board-certified by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and holds fellowships from the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery.


Dr. Barbarino graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California, received her Medical Degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and completed her residency at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital at New York University.

She continued with fellowships in oculofacial plastics, facial cosmetic surgery, and general full body cosmetic surgery.

A dedicated researcher and educator, she has authored more than 15 published papers in peer-reviewed journals, served as a principal investigator for research studies, and led international and national workshops.

She currently serves as President of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and Treasurer of the Texas Cosmetic Surgery Society.

A five-time recipient of the Compassionate Doctor Award and Patients' Choice Award, Dr. Barbarino practices in Austin and Los Angeles, where she combines surgical precision with compassionate, patient-centered care across surgical and non-surgical modalities.
